$PEPE is not really a great active trade but will be 1 of the winners later on when risk on conditions come. It could still take several weeks/months for that to happen though. Check the recent post I made with regards to buying spot down here at these levels. $USELESS trading down now and still just a good reflection of risk on conditions in specific ways. Onchain has largely been very good the last month with some sol/RH shitcoins doing well but the traditional / lindy memes like pepe/fartcoin/doge/useless haven't had much of a bid. These lindy memes will more go when bitcoin goes IMO and we'll see decent appreciation at that point. I think some sort of long consolidation period would be healthy to see for USELESS and there are a few ways to play this...but definitely not a great active trade right now imo #Altcoin Season# #USELESS

: Still looks good on the lower time frames but I wanted to talk a bit about the higher time frames- on 1 hand, I think pump is still a great business with lots of 'revenue' (probably a lot of it is fake), a big warchest, and great PMF. It's also got a team that is smart and willing to pivot to new ideas (cross chain, streaming, social, etc).

On the other hand, there are unlocks, and unlocks are going to probably push down any future pushes. Now, you can argue that the VCs are simply waiting for bullish conditions to unload their bags and that's totally reasonable. But still, the overhang is a reason why you will always be a bit worried imo.

I think about some of the older coins that launched in the bear market (thinking 2023) and then started to unlock in 2024. Coins like ARB are a good example- while the ARB token itself is useless, I still think that the perception back then was quite a bit different and arb is still one of the few chains/L2s that has some traction still today. But I just remember ARB pretty much underperforming everything when the bull market really hit in 2024 and I think it's because of VC unlocks (the counter to this is SUI, which had a decent run).

So, great fundamentals + revenue + buying tokens vs. token unlocks. Usually the latter ALWAYS wins this and the buybacks can never overcome the selling...but the timing is always the tricky part about any trade.

Do I think that pump is going to be higher than todays prices when the bull market hits? Probably

Am I scared as hell about these VCs who have their tokens? Definitely #Altcoin Season# #PUMP

nice move today but still unsure of where this lands in the mid term. The longer it spends in 1 area (I dont know where), the more bullish I become. I'm more looking for a time based capitulation than price personally.

IMO low $400s would be a good place to start buying for the longer term but its really going to be bitcoin dependent. if btc legs down then this obviously goes with it #Altcoin Season# #ZEC

$ZEC doesn't have a super clear trend to me, just slow grinding up and slow grinding down. I think this one needs to continue resetting but it's still 1 of the better ones you can hold for this cycle IMO. Decent buy in the mid $300s? #Altcoin Season# #ZEC

$HYPE weakness has been very clear and it's lost that $55 region. If we deviate back above it then we're ok but I wouldn't be surprised to see mid $40s at this point. Still a great buy down there imo but there's clearly some big selling going on (duh). Hard to tell what's going on though and I haven't seen too much in terms of big wallets unstaking. #Altcoin Season# #hype

$BTC Nearly 1 TRILLION wiped off US stocks in 40 minutes after Reuters reported a possible intervention by the US in the YEN market.

The S&P 500 was up 0.70% on the day and had added $540 billion to its market cap.

Then it crashed 1.20% in just 40 minutes, wiping out $920 billion after the Reuters report.Yes carry trade is now unwinding in real time.

Hundreds of billions were borrowed in cheap yen and put into US stocks, and a stronger yen forces those positions to close.

I'm still just long HyperLiquid as a trade right now; unsure if it heads lower in the mid term but will definitely be a longer term buyer in the $40s. My invalidation is if it loses this area on higher time frame charts and my concern is mostly that there is just more big selling going on + broader btc market still being pretty choppy.
