DCA won't make you a genius. It just stops you from being the person who bought the TOP.

Here's a quick test with real $BTC weekly closes from Binance spot.

Say you put $100 into BTC every week for the last 12 weekly closes (Aug 10 to Oct 26). Total in: $1,200.
Your average entry: about $78,860.
At today's ~$76,940, that stack is worth roughly $1,171.

Now compare that with putting the full $1,200 in on one day:
- Best case, the Aug 10 close at $62,900: worth about $1,468 now
- Worst case, the Sep 28 close at $86,530: worth about $1,067 now

DCA landed in the middle. That is the whole point. You give up the dream entry in exchange for never having to guess it, and you skip the regret of going all-in a week before an 11% slide.

How to make it work:
1. Fix the amount and the day in advance, then automate it
2. Only use money you won't need for months
3. Don't double up out of FOMO after a green week
4. Decide your exit rules before you start, not during a dump

DCA is a habit, not a guarantee. Prices can keep falling longer than you expect.

Do you DCA on a fixed schedule, or do you try to time your buys?

Not financial advice.
