BTC has already pulled back from $87K, but the historical comparison suggests there could be more downside.
CryptoQuant puts $74.5K on the radar if this correction reaches the average drawdown across previous bull cycles.
$BTC $74.5K level comes from historical averages, not a prediction.
CryptoQuant contributor MAC_D compared drawdowns across five previous bull cycles and calculated an average pullback of 14.39%.
Applied to BTC’s October 5 high of $87,027, that puts the level near $74,500. BTC had already fallen 7.61% to $80,404 by October 9.
My view:
$74.5K is worth watching, but averages don’t dictate price. Past cycles had very different market conditions, and the latest bull cycle actually recorded smaller pullbacks. NFA/DYOR
If selling continues, this level gives traders a historical reference, not a guaranteed floor. The question is whether buyers step in before BTC gets there.
