HYPE reached a new all-time high of $90.92 after Hyperliquid launched manual borrowing against HYPE and Bitcoin collateral. Users can now borrow USDC or USDT directly against those assets, while Hyperliquid reported about $269 million in assets borrowed across the underlying infrastructure.
The move adds another lending layer to the decentralized trading ecosystem and comes as Kraken prepares to use Hyperliquid's HIP-3 markets for U.S. onchain perpetual futures.
