TRON’s stablecoin market cap has grown by $4.8B in just 90 days, with the increase reportedly larger than the combined growth across the other nine biggest chains.
That is a pretty serious liquidity signal.
TRON now holds roughly $91.6B in stablecoins, with USDT making up about $87.9B. It also reportedly accounts for nearly half of all USDT deployed across blockchains.
And this is where I think the number gets interesting.
Stablecoin growth isn't the same thing as capital actively flowing into TRX or DeFi. But it does show that a huge amount of dollar liquidity continues to choose TRON as its settlement rail.
That matters because TRON's strongest use case has increasingly been less about speculative DeFi and more about moving dollar denominated value cheaply across borders.
Personally, that's the part I find more compelling.
People can argue about TRON's ecosystem all day, but $90B+ in stablecoins is difficult to dismiss as purely narrative.
The question now is whether that liquidity keeps translating into transactions, payments, DeFi activity and sustainable network revenue, rather than simply sitting there as parked USDT.
Because $4.8B of new stablecoin liquidity is impressive.
What users actually do with it is the real signal.
