Ripple just minted another 10 million $RLUSD today, pushing total supply to around 1.71 billion.

Here's why this matters more than people think:

Stablecoins are the boring foundation of the entire RWA (real-world asset) story. Everyone gets excited about tokenizing treasuries, real estate, or commodities — but none of that works without a compliant settlement layer.

You can't have institutions trading tokenized assets if there's no dollar-pegged rail their compliance teams will approve. Traditional finance won't touch crypto-native assets directly, but they'll settle in regulated stablecoins all day.

That's the real game. Stablecoin infrastructure isn't flashy, but it's what makes everything else possible. Without it, RWA tokenization stays theoretical.

Ripple clearly sees this. They're building the pipes while everyone else argues about the buildings.
