A few days ago, I was looking at a Binance P2P order when I noticed something I normally wouldn’t think twice about.

The other trader kept asking me to finish quickly.

Nothing was obviously wrong.

The order was still on Binance.

The payment details were there.

But the repeated pressure made me slow down.

Technical point: In P2P trading, urgency shouldn’t replace verification. You can check the trader’s information, review the order details, confirm the payment yourself, and keep the conversation inside the Binance order.

So I waited.

Checked everything again.

Then continued only after it all matched.

Self-critique: I used to think being fast meant being efficient.

Now I think there’s a difference between fast and rushed.

Fast is finishing a clean transaction efficiently.

Rushed is skipping a check because someone else wants you to hurry.

That distinction is surprisingly important in P2P.

Sometimes the safest move isn’t doing something.

It’s taking another 30 seconds before doing it.
