Chief Executive Officer Vadim Mats attributed the strong performance to “the scalability of our operating platforms” combined with strategic discipline in capital deployment and business expansion.
Advertising ROI Shows Significant Improvement
A standout element of the quarterly report was enhanced marketing efficiency. While advertising and marketing expenditure increased by just 13.5% quarter-over-quarter, revenue accelerated 35.8%, creating a favorable operating leverage dynamic.
The company generated approximately $0.78 in revenue for every dollar spent on advertising during Q2, up roughly 20% from the $0.65 recorded in the previous quarter. Marketing expense as a proportion of revenue improved from approximately 153% in Q1 to 128% in the most recent period.
According to Mats, the company has been “concentrating spending on customer segments, marketing channels and products demonstrating the strongest retention and contribution economics.”
Strategic Divestiture of Gaming Portfolio
Throughout the second quarter, Gaxos finalized the divestiture of substantially all gaming-related assets, encompassing its mobile gaming titles and Gaxos Gaming Labs division, to Game Foundry AI. The transaction structure provided Gaxos with 2.2 million common shares of Game Foundry AI, assigned a transaction value of roughly $1.76 million.
The positive GAAP net income reported for the quarter was largely attributable to gains recognized from this gaming asset transaction.
Additionally, Gaxos maintains a 19.99% equity stake in America First Defense.AI LLC, a defense technology enterprise.
The company’s cash position and short-term investments totaled approximately $11.44 million as of June 30, 2026, representing a modest decline from the $11.71 million balance at the conclusion of Q1.
Looking ahead to the second half of 2026, management outlined priorities including expanding recurring revenue streams, enhancing customer acquisition cost efficiency, and scaling product lines with attractive unit economics.
As of August 12, 2026, Gaxos had 10,744,634 common shares outstanding. The company carries a market capitalization of approximately $9.31 million with a Relative Strength Index reading of 39.25 entering the after-hours rally.
During the trailing 52-week period, shares have fluctuated within a range of $0.73 to $2.96. Before Wednesday’s extended-hours surge, the stock was trading near its annual low.
