On August 27, BlockBeats reported that 12 addresses suspected to be linked to an a16z-associated execution cluster were still using TWAP orders to buy HYPE. According to BlockBeats On-chain Detection, the cluster planned to buy 146,900 HYPE in this round, with 127,600 already filled and about 19,300 remaining.

The executed purchases were valued at about $10.419 million, with a weighted average price of about $81.68 per token, and the order completion rate stood at 86.8%. The 12 TWAP orders had not yet ended, and the remaining tokens were worth about $1.596 million at current prices.

This marked the third consecutive day of buying by the cluster. In the previous two days, it bought 148,100 HYPE and 146,300 HYPE, with transaction values of about $11.968 million and $11.998 million, respectively.

Including the portion filled today, the cluster has bought about 422,000 HYPE over the past three days, with actual spending of about $34.384 million. Of the 294,400 HYPE bought in the first two rounds, about 294,300 were later transferred out of the original execution accounts and moved into HyperEVM and staking-related account systems.

The record shows the 12 addresses began buying HYPE through TWAP as early as May 11. From May to June, they completed 244 TWAP buy orders, totaling about 4.2362 million HYPE and about $272 million in value.

Including the three rounds completed from August 25 to today, the cluster has accumulated purchases of about 4.6582 million HYPE since May, with historical trading value rising to about $306 million. If the remaining orders are fully completed today, total purchases would increase to about 4.6775 million HYPE. The main address is 0xb5E4d21240e9356caFc3a1261d10383f62DFc24e.
