BullishCompanies Have Filed for a Spot Bitcoin ETF in the US in 2023 !The following companies have filed for a spot Bitcoin ETF in the US this year:

Other large firms with existing futures ETFs have joined the race in re-filing applications for the USA’s first spot ETF, including VanEck and Fidelity. Firms with rejected applications that have not yet re-filed include Global X, Kryptoin, and First Trust.
Grayscale, another asset manager, is currently awaiting review of its application to convert its bitcoin trust into an ETF after a federal appeals court ruling. The Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) is currently the largest bitcoin ETP (exchange-traded product), holding 623,645 bitcoins. The ruling stated that the SEC did not provide enough information as to why Grayscale’s application was not ‘materially similar’ to other futures ETF that had been approved – failing to convince the panel that the spot market was less safe than the futures market for investors.
