Bitcoin is still trying to find its footing around $80K, and that’s making the altcoin market feel pretty cautious. But $ENA caught my attention. What started as a price move is becoming a bigger story. Ethena is now putting 100% of net protocol revenue toward programmatic $ENA buybacks, while seed investor buyouts are complete and monthly VC unlocks have been removed. That’s a meaningful change to the supply side. With TVL around $4B and trading volume pushing past $2B, there’s also real activity behind the narrative. I’m not saying to chase the move. I’m watching how ENA behaves if $BTC strengthens or pulls back. For now, $ENA is one trade I’m keeping on my radar and trading on Bitget. Ripple is recommending that the $XRP Ledger community withdraw the long-running XChainBridge, or XLS-38, amendment. The proposal was originally designed to support native cross-chain bridging across XRPL networks. Ripple says the main bridge use case is now better served by Axelar, which supports 50+ blockchains and more than 75 validators. The company also says developer demand for XLS-38 remains limited, while removing it could cut over 10,000 lines of code. The decision is not final. Bitcoin open interest is sitting at $47.46B. That’s 753.73K BTC in active contracts across exchanges. OI is down 1.14% over the last 24H as $BTC continues to trade around $63K. Leverage is cooling, but it hasn't been flushed out. That matters. If BTC breaks higher, there is still plenty of positioning that can fuel the move. Empery Digital Sold 1,635 BTC Since July, Unrestricted Holdings Fell to 325 BTC According to CryptoSlate, Bitcoin treasury company Empery Digital sold 1,635 $BTC for approximately $102.2 million from July 1 to August 6, reducing its total holdings to 1,279 BTC. Of this amount, 954 BTC was pledged against $35 million in debt, leaving just 325 BTC unrestricted, down from 1,375 BTC on June 30.
