Feast of St. Bernadette Soubirous – February 18th 🌹

Tomorrow, February 18th, we celebrate St. Bernadette Soubirous, Virgin, visionary of Lourdes.

In 1858, at age 14, Bernadette saw 18 apparitions of the Immaculate Virgin Mary in the grotto of Massabielle, Lourdes. The Lady asked for penance, prayer for sinners, and a chapel; she revealed herself as “the Immaculate Conception” and directed Bernadette to the healing spring. Despite mockery, poverty, and illness, Bernadette remained humble and truthful. She entered the Sisters of Charity of Nevers, lived in obscurity, and died in 1879 at 35.

“I am the Immaculate Conception.”

Bernadette graces for the day:
- Pray the Rosary with special intention for sinners and the sick.
- Offer a small penance or act of humility.
- If possible, renew baptismal promises or bless yourself with water (physical or spiritual).
- Quick act: entrust one hidden suffering to Our Lady through Bernadette.
