⚠️ Stars Arena was drained of 3 million USD TVL
After less than 24 hours of posting the tweet "celebrating victory" when reaching the TVL milestone of nearly 3 million USD after just over 2 weeks of operation. Stars Arena has officially confirmed being attacked.
The official X account of the Stars Arena project - considered a friendtech copy on the Avalanche network - has been confirmed to be hacked. According to on-chain data, Stars Arena's wallet address has been drained of liquidity. The entire amount of more than 266,201 AVAX, equivalent to nearly 3 million USD worth of TVL contained in the protocol, was transferred to the attacker's wallet.
Stars Arena is a friendtech inspired web3 social media platform on layer-2 Base, The platform has reached over 10,000 daily active and engaged user wallets, surpassing many other dApps on Avalanche.
