Aptos posted its 4th birthday today. The bigger gift already landed this month: the four-year lockup for core contributors and investors is done. That was 324.78M $APT , about 32% of the 1B genesis supply.
Scheduled monthly unlocks drop from about 11.31M to about 4.54M APT, roughly 60% less. APT is around $0.77, down 4.3% today. The chart didn't get the memo yet.

Latvia is moving fast on crypto tax. On Thursday the Saeima passed a law that taxes crypto when you withdraw more than you put in, not on every trade.
There's a one-time option too. Declare what you hold at its Dec 31, 2026 value, pay 10%, and that value becomes your new cost basis.
Today a government adviser told CoinDesk that paying taxes in crypto should come in 2027.
