Tomorrow’s US CPI report is the big event traders are waiting for. Economists expect headline inflation to rise from 3.4% to 3.6% yoy, mainly due to higher energy costs. Core inflation is expected at 2.4%, but the actual numbers could surprise either way. Here’s what I’m watching: 📈 Hotter CPI: Yields could stay elevated, putting pressure on BTC and risk assets. 📉 Cooler CPI: Could ease rate concerns and give buyers some breathing room. Rn $BTC is hovering around $83K, with $82.5K an important support area and $84K a level bulls need to reclaim. My take? I’m not picking a direction before the data. The first candle can be misleading I want to see the market’s reaction and whether volume confirms the move. What’s your expectation: will CPI come in hotter or cooler than forecast? $XAU #SeptemberCPIWatch #Inflation #US #cpi $ETC

Will September CPI Shake Oil & Treasuries? #CPIWatch I’m watching oil prices and US Treasury yields closely ahead of the September CPI report. With Middle East tensions adding uncertainty to energy markets, I think inflation could surprise traders if energy costs continue moving higher. For me, the key question is whether rising oil prices are just a short-term reaction to geopolitical risk or the beginning of another inflationary push. If energy prices remain elevated, headline CPI could come in hotter than expected and make the Fed’s next move more difficult to predict. That’s why I’m being careful with both oil and Treasury positions. A hotter CPI could push Treasury yields higher, putting pressure on long-duration Treasury ETFs like TMF, while TBT could benefit from rising yields. But if inflation comes in softer, we could see the opposite reaction. My approach is to wait for the actual numbers instead of trading purely on expectations. I’ll be watching headline CPI, core CPI, oil price action, and the market’s reaction after the release. Sometimes the biggest move comes not from the data itself, but from how different it is from what the market already expects. What’s your view — hotter CPI, or an inflation surprise to the downside? $TRUTH $ETH $BTC #Inflation #CrudeOil #TreasuryYields #FederalReserve

Over the past 12 years, the minimum wage in Ukraine has increased sevenfold, while prices have grown fivefold, according to data from Slovo i Dilo. The largest increases in the minimum wage occurred in 2020–2021. Starting January 1, 2027, plans call for raising the minimum wage from 8,647 to 9,546 UAH. This adjustment is expected to restore its purchasing power to approximately 2024 levels. However, inflation continues to erode purchasing power. In the first eight months of 2026 alone, the real value of the minimum wage declined by more than 5%. #Ukraine #Inflation

#CPIWatch 🔎 The headline can look hot while the details tell a different story. Headline CPI includes food and energy. Core CPI excludes both. Before interpreting September’s release, compare: ✅ Headline month-over-month versus consensus. ✅ Core month-over-month versus consensus. ✅ Both year-over-year readings. ✅ Which components drove the change. An energy-driven rise with softer core inflation can produce a different reaction from broad inflation pressure. My trade filter: if headline and core send conflicting signals, wait for oil and Treasury prices to establish direction. One surprising number doesn’t automatically justify an entry. If one CPI print can wreck your entire investment thesis, inflation might not be your biggest problem. Your position size might be. The bond market has already moved. Has your risk management caught up? 👇 The attached TradingView snapshot for October 13 shows: • US 10-year yield: 5.217%, versus 4.032% a year ago. • US 30-year yield: 5.563%, versus 4.630% a year ago. That’s roughly 119 and 93 basis points higher, respectively. Markets haven’t been sitting around waiting for September’s CPI. My view: a good portion of the inflation concern is already priced in. That doesn’t mean all of it is—or that every move in yields comes from inflation. I still lean toward higher Treasury yields and further pressure on existing fixed-rate bond prices. A softer CPI print could challenge that view in the short term. But I don’t believe a long-term investment plan should need rewriting every time inflation lands or oil jumps. Persistent changes in the fundamentals deserve a rethink. Every nervous candle doesn’t. If your plan only works when every number comes in friendly, how solid was that plan? What would actually change your thesis after CPI—and what would merely test your nerves? Source: TradingView US Treasury yield curves, October 13, 2026. #CPIWatch #Treasuries #Inflation

#CPIWatch: Will September CPI Shake Oil and Treasuries? The market is watching inflation closely, and the upcoming September CPI report could become an important catalyst for financial markets. In my opinion, traders should pay attention not only to the headline inflation number but also to core CPI, energy prices, and the overall direction of inflation. A hotter-than-expected reading could increase concerns about interest rates, put pressure on US Treasury prices, and create volatility across risk assets. Oil prices may also react to changing demand expectations and broader economic uncertainty. For the crypto market, the key question is how inflation data could influence the Federal Reserve's next move. If inflation cools more than expected, market sentiment could improve and Bitcoin may benefit from stronger risk appetite. However, persistent inflation could keep financial conditions tight and trigger short-term volatility. I believe smart traders should prepare for both scenarios instead of blindly predicting the direction. Watch the data, monitor market reactions, and always manage risk. 🛢️ WHY OIL MATTERS

If energy supply disruptions continue, oil prices could stay elevated, putting more pressure on fuel costs and inflation. However, easing tensions or improving supply could push oil prices lower.

📊 THE BIG TEST: SEPTEMBER CPI

The key question is whether inflation comes in above or below market expectations.

🔥 IF CPI IS HOTTER THAN EXPECTED:

* Markets may price in fewer Fed rate cuts.

* Treasury yields could move higher.

* Longer-term Treasury funds may face additional pressure.

🟢 IF CPI IS COOLER THAN EXPECTED:

* Expectations for rate cuts could increase.

* Treasury yields may decline.

* Bond prices could recover.

🛢️ OIL IS STILL UP BIG THIS YEAR — BUT CAN CPI CHANGE THE NEXT MOVE? Tomorrow’s US inflation report could give oil and Treasury traders a fresh reason to rethink their positions. Here’s what caught my attention: 📊 Oil: Crude was around $92.36 per barrel on October 13, down about 1.47% on the day. Despite that pullback, it remained roughly 57% higher than a year ago, according to Trading Economics. 🇺🇸 Treasuries: The US 10-year Treasury yield stood near 5.20%, easing slightly on the day but still up about 0.21 percentage points over the past month. That combination matters. Higher energy prices can feed into inflation, while persistent inflation may keep interest rates elevated for longer. My plan for the September CPI release: 🔴 Hotter-than-expected CPI: I would watch for renewed pressure on Treasury prices, higher yields and a possible reaction in oil as traders reassess inflation risks. 🟢 Cooler-than-expected CPI: Yields could ease if markets see less pressure on monetary policy. Oil’s next move would still depend on supply, demand and geopolitical developments. I’m not chasing a headline before the numbers arrive. I want to see the CPI result, the market’s first reaction and whether that move holds. 📌 Data sources: US Bureau of Labor Statistics (CPI release schedule) and Trading Economics (October 13 oil and Treasury yield data). With Brent crude surging past $105/barrel, some analysts warn headline inflation could accelerate up to 3.7%. Core CPI: Expected to slow slightly to +0.2% MoM (down from 0.3%) while remaining steady at 2.4% YoY. 💡 Key Market Impacts to Watch: Fed Interest Rate Outlook: A hotter-than-expected inflation reading could reopen the door for further rate hikes. Currently, the CME FedWatch Tool indicates an 80% probability that rates will remain paused at 3.75%–4.00%. Gold (XAU/USD): A cooler CPI reading could trigger a strong bullish rally in gold prices. Bitcoin (BTC): BTC is currently consolidating near the $83,000 mark. High volatility is anticipated immediately following the data release. 💭 What’s your take? Will this CPI report spark the next market breakout, or are we heading toward a pullback?
