Binance will be upgrading its Options trading platform to enhance stability, performance and scalability, with improved infrastructure and new features designed to empower your trading experience.
This migration is scheduled to take place from 2025-12-14 05:00 (UTC) to 2025-12-15 05:00 (UTC).
Daily options expiring on 2025-12-14, 2025-12-15, and 2025-12-16 will not be listed.
Binance Discount Buy will be temporarily paused from 2025-12-13 00:00 (UTC) to 2025-12-16 00:00 (UTC).
The migration will begin on 2025-12-14 05:00 (UTC) and end on 2025-12-15 05:00 (UTC).
All trading and liquidations will be paused throughout the entire upgrade window.
All open orders will be cancelled at the start of the migration and can be resubmitted once the upgrade is complete.
Your positions and balances will automatically transition to the new system, no action is required on your end.
Market-maker MMP and Kill Switch settings will revert to default and must be reconfigured after the upgrade again.
Your existing API keys will be migrated and will remain valid.
During the 2-hour post-migration window, no liquidations will occur, even if a position is below margin requirements. Users can use this period to deposit additional collateral or adjust positions. After the 2 hours, normal liquidation logic resumes. Any position that remains at liquidation levels will then be liquidated.
Historical data (orders, trades, and exercise history from before the migration) will be available via a new async endpoint.
API users should refer to the updated API and WebSocket documentation.

The upgrade duration is based on our current estimates and may vary slightly.
After the migration, Options PnL and certain market data will be temporarily hidden while we upgrade its performance. It is scheduled to be restored within one week, with the final timeline to be confirmed based on the upgrade progress.
