"sandwiching is a solved problem"
- users lost $850K this week ($45M/yr)

"you can't stop sandwiching - it pays validators more!"
- sandwichers kept 98% (validators got 2%)

H/T to @0xGhostLogs dashboard as always

I love the new @jump_firedancer dashboard!

some interesting finds:

1) vanilla FD and vanilla Agave fill blocks 37.5M CUs
but FD+@jito_sol fills 44.9M and Agave+Jito fill 41.7M

really not sure why that is... 🤔

does this mean 15% of Tx are sent exclusively to Jito Labs, never reaching vanilla validators? 🤔

Interestingly, @solana validators don’t publish their client ID in gossip

you can infer agave/FD from version, and agave/jito from Jito’s API

any reason not to add it @trentdotsol @alessandrod ?

excluding it doesn’t “protect” validators since version is published

I never used Binance, FTX, etc - I didn’t want to KYC with them

I figured just Coinbase is OK

I was wrong - let’s go full DeFi 🫡

last 30 days
- @solana users lost $4M to sandwichers
- validators got only 7.5% of it

Solana apps - @paladin_solana can help!

DM me or @edgarpavlovsky and lets meet at @SolanaConf
