COLDCARD just got compromised. A phishing post went live on their official account pretending to be an urgent security update about seed vulnerabilities. Directed users to a fake migration site. They already had that entropy bug earlier this year that cost people $100M+ in $BTC. Never enter your seed anywhere. Doesn't matter whose account posts it. Verify everything yourself.

ETF outflows getting attention. Question is whether this is Wall Street cooling off or just another shakeout before things heat up again. Flow data always tells a story but the timing matters more than the headline number.

JP Morgan tracking ~$50B into crypto YTD, projecting $66B for the year. Down from $110B in 2023 and $160B in 2024. What's actually interesting: the composition changed. H1 was basically MicroStrategy and VC money doing all the work. Q3 flipped — ETFs and institutional futures came back online. ETF flows turned net positive after the August recovery. Not a demand problem. Just a rotation in who's buying.

Most people blow up their accounts at 11pm scrolling on their phone half asleep thinking "just one more trade" That's when the dumbest decisions happen. Not during market hours. Not after research. Just tired brain + open exchange = rekt If you're trading past 10pm you're not trading, you're gambling

Bear markets don't test your strategy. They test your timeline. If you needed the money within a year, it shouldn't have been in crypto in the first place. Most people blow up not because their thesis was wrong — but because their timeframe was.

Prediction markets are pricing in a 31% chance of $BTC hitting $100K before 2027. Not exactly the consensus bullish take everyone's been screaming about. Market's saying maybe, but probably not anytime soon. Interesting gap between CT hopium and where actual money is being placed.

Bessent just casually dropped that the US is about to seize ~$1B in crypto tied to Iran this week. That's double what he was talking about in April. Tether already froze $550M this year. OFAC hit exchanges back in August. Now they're lining up another move. No details on which exchange or issuer yet. Just "we know where it is." This is the part people forget when they say crypto can't be touched. If it's on a centralized platform or a stablecoin issuer plays ball, it's not as untouchable as the narrative suggests. Regulatory reach is real when they want it to be.

Tom Lee out here calling $50k $ETH this cycle. Also said $7.5k ETH and $100k+ $BTC by end of year. Classic perma-bull stuff but honestly? He's been right more than wrong. Not saying it happens, but the setup isn't crazy if liquidity actually shows up. Still feels early for most people to believe it.

I don't short $ETH, $SOL, $XRP, $BNB or $DOGE. Never $BTC. Only thing I've shorted before is $HYPE. And I don't short late in a bear market. If you're underwater on that short, you're on your own.

Watching a few alts for Q4 that actually have something going on. Not gonna hype them up, but they're on the radar. Market's been quiet but some setups look interesting if things flip. Still early to call it but worth keeping an eye on.

Michigan consumer sentiment just dropped to 46.3 — missed estimates and only 1.5 points above the May record low of 44.8. Three months straight down. Current conditions hit 44.7, an all-time low. People aren't buying big-ticket stuff. Borrowing costs are still brutal, prices are still high. Expectations barely budged up to 47.3, but that doesn't matter when day-to-day life is getting more expensive and people can feel it. This is the kind of data that eventually forces a policy shift. Question is how long it takes.

Called the $BTC 80K wick last week. Now watching the classic trap play out. Everyone screaming 50K next → they get liquidated → price runs back to 92K. Same pattern every early bull run. People forget how this game works.

$BTC bouncing back after the dump. Quantum narrative tokens bleeding out — some looking cheap if you think the noise settles.

Max pain in $BTC options = the price where most options expire worthless. That's where market makers bleed the least, so price tends to drift toward it heading into expiry. I use it as a short-term gravitational pull. Nothing more. It tells you zero about where we're actually headed long term.

People still asking about IBIT allocation. I don't touch it. It's just institutional $BTC wrapper — same price action, different ticker. If you're asking about IBIT, you're really asking about Bitcoin exposure. Answer the real question first.

Thailand just greenlit $BTC and $ETH ETFs on their main exchange. Oct 16. 80% single-asset minimum. Only those two for now. Not a huge market but another domino. ETF approvals spreading beyond US/HK is the slow grind that matters. Most people won't care until it's everywhere and they realize they missed the setup.

Vitol's CEO just said $200 oil is actually on the table now. Not a theory — a real scenario. The risk? If ship-to-ship transfers in the Gulf of Oman get disrupted, 14 million barrels a day stop moving. That's the backbone. And Western reserves are already at critical lows. Most people still think this is noise. It's not. Oil shocks don't announce themselves until it's too late. If you're not watching energy markets right now, you're missing the setup for one of the biggest macro moves this year.

NEAR co-founder at TOKEN2049 basically said "we can replace CEXs with onchain rails" and honestly... not the worst pitch They've got tokenized stocks/ETFs live through Ondo, planning more fiat on-ramps. NEAR Agent Market lets you do natural-language commands — agents handle the front, markets handle the back. Plus confidential execution so your trades aren't broadcast to the world Still early but the vision is clear: private-by-default finance, AI that actually executes, less reliance on centralized platforms Worth keeping an eye on. If they pull it off it changes how normies interact with crypto entirely

Michael Burry calling the AI boom a giant loop that's about to run out of time. The guy who shorted the housing market is now betting against the AI narrative. Not exactly shocking coming from him, but worth noting when someone with that track record starts making noise. Markets have been pricing in AI like it's a sure thing for months now. Whether he's early or just wrong remains to be seen. But when macro guys start calling tops on the hottest narrative in tech, usually means we're closer to a reality check than most people think.
