@VerusCoin Ethereum Bridge has been exploited again, with losses estimated at $7.53M.
According to Blockaid, the attacker abused the bridge’s import mechanism to trigger unbacked payouts, allowing them to drain assets from the bridge’s reserves.
The stolen assets include ETH, tBTC, USDC, USDT, EURC, MKR, and scrvUSD.
Notably, the attack reportedly used the same vulnerability that was exploited in the May incident, raising fresh concerns about the bridge’s security. $VRSC
AFX Trade has reportedly suffered a $24M exploit on @Arbitrum with the attack targeting one of its bridge contracts.
Bridge security remains one of the biggest challenges in DeFi.
The investigation is still ongoing, with several blockchain security firms now involved.
According to SlowMist, the stolen funds remain in the attacker’s wallet, which has been flagged with the Crypto Defense Alliance (CDA), a network of exchanges and ecosystem partners actively monitoring suspicious addresses.
Zellic, the firm that audited the bridge, has also joined the investigation to help determine what happened.
The team says it will continue sharing updates as more verified information becomes available. $ARB
🚨 Allbridge Core has been exploited, with losses exceeding $1.1M.
The attacker used a flash loan from Kamino to manipulate swaps across Allbridge’s liquidity pools.
In one of the transactions alone, 3,987.46 $USDT was exchanged for 948,927.52 $USDC highlighting the scale of the exploit.
A portion of the stolen funds has already been moved through a privacy protocol, while the total number of attacker-controlled wallets and the final loss amount are still under investigation.
MetaMask’s parent company, Consensys, unknowingly gave a DPRK-linked contractor access to parts of its codebase for about a month.
The GitHub handle (imyugioh) was reportedly already listed in SEAL’s public DPRK IT worker database before the contractor joined.
Consensys says it caught the issue before any malicious code or user losses occurred.
If one of the largest crypto companies can be infiltrated through a contractor using a false identity, it’s fair to ask how many smaller protocols with far fewer security resources might be exposed to similar hiring risks.
Damn! Would have been a clean wipe of $ETH / ERC20/BEP20 and other related Assets.
The circulating supply of $USDT on $TRX has officially surpassed $90 billion, reinforcing the network’s dominance in stablecoin activity.
TRON is also averaging $23.8 billion in daily $USDT transfer volume, highlighting its role as one of the busiest settlement layers for stablecoin transactions.
> Lean Data: Quantum-resistant blob commitments with more flexible data availability.
> Lean Execution: A lightweight, SNARK-friendly execution layer built to scale while maintaining EVM compatibility.
The objective goes beyond increasing throughput. $ETH aims to make the network easier to verify, simpler to formally prove, more resilient against attacks, prepared for quantum computing, and capable of scaling without compromising decentralization.
To support this effort, the Ethereum Foundation has formed a dedicated post-quantum team, while more than 10 client teams are already taking part in interoperability testing. Open-source projects like leanXMSS, leanVM, and leanSig are also actively under development.
The current roadmap targets full post-quantum readiness around 2029, with changes expected to roll out gradually rather than through a single major overhaul.
Ethereum’s next chapter is not just about scaling. It’s about building a protocol designed to remain secure, efficient, and sustainable for decades to come.
Summer Finance suffered an exploit that resulted in the loss of 6.017 million $DAI
The team says the issue affected the Lazy Summer Protocol. In response, all vaults have been paused and deposit caps across every supported network have been reduced to zero as a precaution.
The incident is still under investigation, and users are advised not to interact with the protocol until further updates are provided.
BlackRock has now logged 10 straight trading sessions of net Bitcoin outflows, with a total of 35,980 $BTC worth approximately $2.24 billion, leaving its funds over that period.
A trader turned $2.33K into $614.5K, a remarkable 261x return.
Wallet CxCTVj initially spent $2.33K to acquire 14.2M $ANSEM. So far, they’ve sold 4.2M $ANSEM for $68.1K and continue to hold 10M $ANSEM, currently valued at $548.8K.
Across both realized and unrealized gains, the position is now worth approximately $614.5K.
