THE FED IS NOW IN A HUGE DILEMMA.

Just now, US CPI and Core CPI data were released, and they gave mixed signals.

The US CPI rose 0.3% MoM, while the expectations were of 0.2%.

Meanwhile, the Core CPI came in line with the expectations and dropped to its lowest level since March 2021.

Usually the Fed uses the Core CPI as its inflation gauge, as it excludes energy rises.

So the Fed now has 2 choices.

Hike the rate when the inflation is primarily driven by just one thing, which is oil.

Pause the rates, but if oil prices keep rising, the Fed will have to compensate with bigger hikes in the future. #CPIWatch $BTC
