The trick to a good trade is to plan ahead, monitor, execute, compound and repeat.
I start with daily chart, plan it out and monitor on 1H, once the entry is reached I switch to 30m and do multiple trades compunding the profits. This has been the best #strategy so far.

i don’t treat btc and eth the same. btc sits. eth moves.
btc is long-term safety. it’s where i park value. i don’t touch it. like a vault with no key.
but eth? that’s the playground. smart contracts, defi, leverage, liquid staking. the network effects and volatility make it my go-to for short-term flips and mid-term setups.
trading eth gives me more chances to read volume, react fast, and rotate profits. i can use it across chains and still stay in the game.
btc = trust. eth = utility.

started as a scalper. thought quick in, quick out was the fastest way to grow. turned out it was the fastest way to lose money. i was trading noise. no edge, just reactions.

now i focus on the 4h and daily. i look for key levels, momentum shifts, and only trade 1–2 setups a week. no more chasing. no more overtrading.

biggest mistake? thinking more indicators = better strategy. i was stacking rsi, macd, ema, fibs… hoping one of them would “confirm” my trade. it just made me overthink. the charts were screaming, but i was paralyzed.

then i stripped everything down. now it’s just price action, key levels, and trend bias. i win more because i’m not second-guessing every move. clean charts, clean mind.

the other mistake? letting one red trade ruin my day. losses happen. it’s not about avoiding them, it’s about surviving them. risk management isn’t optional — it’s the whole game.

tried arbitrage trading between binance and kucoin. saw a 0.6% difference in SOL/USDT at one point. i jumped in thinking easy profit — until i got hit with withdrawal fees, slow confirmations, and by the time funds arrived, the spread was gone.

lesson: arbitrage is not just about spotting price differences. it’s about speed, fees, and liquidity. unless you’ve automated the process or are dealing in high volume, most of the profit gets eaten up.

that said, there are still small wins in stablecoin arbitrage on-chain — if you’re fast. but for most, it’s not worth the hassle.

the more i traded trends, the more i realized how often people confuse momentum with trend. just because something is moving fast doesn’t mean it’s trending. i’ve blown up trades thinking i caught the wave, when really it was just a news-driven spike.

these days i ask: is the market making higher highs + higher lows? is there volume to support it? am i chasing a move, or am i early enough to manage risk?

if i can’t answer those, i skip the trade. not every move is mine to take. sometimes, the best position is no position.

Traded enough fakeouts to know: clean breakouts are rare.

i used to jump in on the first pump above resistance — breakout candle, boom, let’s go. but more often than not, that candle reverses, and i’m bag-holding from the top. no volume, no follow-through — just vibes.

now i wait. i look for volume to back the move, a retest to confirm it’s real, and i only enter if the market structure still makes sense. less excitement, more survival.

sometimes i miss it. but missing a good trade is better than getting caught in a trap and bleeding slowly.

Some days it clicks. other days, it’s just noise and fakeouts.

this week, i’ve taken fewer trades — quality over quantity. waiting for clean levels to get respected, not forcing entries just to “be in something.”

my edge isn’t some indicator. it’s patience.

lately i’ve started prepping levels the night before, journaling trades, setting alarms and walking away. it’s helping. not perfect, but better than revenge trading losses back-to-back.

if it doesn’t come to me, i let it go. market will still be there tomorrow.
