$BTC Ahead of Friday’s CPI data, the probability of a **rate hike** at the September 16 meeting is currently around 62%. Today’s PPI data at 15:30 TRT could serve as a preview of tomorrow’s CPI report, and the market could react sharply to today’s figure as well.

Markets are now pricing **three Fed rate hikes across 2026–2027**, whereas just last week the expectation was for a total of only one rate hike.

Pricing has been extremely aggressive because the environment remains highly uncertain, and this uncertainty is driving elevated volatility across markets.

$XRP bounced hard from the $1.00 support and is now holding around $1.39 after the breakout.

If buyers keep this momentum, $1.55 is the first level to reclaim, followed by the major $1.70 target.

🚨 Ripple Unlocks 1 Billion XRP Tokens💥

How Much Is Left?

Ripple has unlocked 1 billion × $XRP as part of its regular monthly escrow release, according to blockchain transaction tracker Whale Alert.

Three transactions released 500 million, 400 million, and 100 million × XRP from Ripple-controlled escrow accounts.

The September release follows Ripple's established escrow mechanism, under which up to 1 billion XRP can become available at the start of each month.

Ripple originally placed 55 billion × $XRP into escrow in 2017 and said unused × XRP would be returned to escrow for future releases.

As of Aug. 31, about 32.28 billion × $XRP remained locked in Ripple's on-ledger escrow, according to an on-chain tracker that calculates the balance directly from active XRPL escrow objects.

After the September 1 unlock, that leaves approximately 31.28 billion XRP in Ripple's existing escrow balance.

That means roughly 31.28% of XRP's fixed 100 billion maximum supply would remain locked in Ripple's escrow following the release.

Sold the Drawdown, Bought the Recovery! 📈

Strategy sold about 6,916 $BTC through the summer at an average near $62,500. Last week it bought 4,603 BTC back at $80,318, roughly $17,800 higher per coin. The August 31 filing shows the $369.7 million purchase occurred between August 24 and 30, the first addition since June 22. Earlier sales generated $432.5 million.

The repurchase remains small relative to the market, representing less than 1% of Bitcoin's roughly $45 billion average daily trading volume in the second half of August.

Holdings now stand at 845,050 #BTC with an average cost of $75,412 and an unrealized gain of approximately 3.6% as of the August 31 close.
