๐Ÿšจ Binance users can now receive S&P 500 ETF dividends through tokenized securities.

Binance is supporting the latest SPDR S&P 500 ETF ($SPY) dividend distribution through SPYB bStocks.

Hereโ€™s how it works:

โ€ข Eligible users holding SPYB at the snapshot receive the dividend
โ€ข The net dividend is reinvested into additional SPYB units
โ€ข Trading of SPYB/USDT continues normally
โ€ข Binance handles the technical distribution process

But thereโ€™s an important detail:

SPYB is NOT the same as directly owning SPY shares through a traditional broker.

Itโ€™s a tokenized security representing an interest in underlying securities held by the issuer.

That distinction matters for:

โ€ข Ownership rights
โ€ข Jurisdiction
โ€ข Custody
โ€ข Tax treatment
โ€ข Product eligibility

This is where crypto exchanges are getting interesting.

They're no longer just offering Bitcoin and altcoins.

They're slowly building infrastructure around stocks, ETFs, tokenized assets and traditional-market income products too.

The line between TradFi and crypto keeps getting thinner.
