🚨 DEFENSIVE ALERT:
12 DeFi Front-Ends Hijacked via Step Drainer 🚨
🌐 Coordinated Attack:
Hackers targeted at least 12 Decentralized Finance (#defi ) websites via DNS/Front-end injection using the malicious "Step Drainer" toolkit.
Smart contracts remain untouched, but user interfaces were compromised to drain connected wallets.
🔒 Registrar Intervention:
Domain registrar Name.com responded by suspending 10 of the affected domains to prevent further user exposure. While projects like StonkFun moved to new infrastructure, the source of the breach (Vercel vs. Name.com configuration) is still under investigation.
📊 Stolen Funds & Impact:
On-chain analysis has traced approximately $138,000 in stolen retail assets across EVM chains. Total victim counts are currently unspecified.
⚠️ Critical: Do NOT connect wallets or sign any transactions on affected platforms until official clearance.
