At 05:12 UTC on October 8, 2026, MET traded at $0.447 , up about 43% in 24 hours and about 124% in 30 days. Bitcoin was down about 2% over the same day.

Why: on October 6, Meteora announced DLMM Pro, a new liquidity engine for Solana token launches. Solana's own account amplified it.

The example: a team launching a token can shape its opening liquidity and set fees that ease as the market matures, instead of one fixed setup.

The usage is real. Meteora pools did about $6.9 billion in volume over 30 days, with about $314 million locked.
