XRP Ledger patched 10-YEAR bug that could print UNLIMITED XRP!

Bug since 2015 in payment engine could break 100B supply cap

How?
- Open 100s accounts (few hundred XRP)
- Offer tiny token for huge XRP
- One payment buys all
- Total too big = integer overflow = wraps to small number
- Sellers paid full, buyer charged almost nothing
- Difference = NEW XRP from nothing!

Could be spent on exchanges = billions

First time in 10 years bypassed vote to hide bug

No evidence exploited - we got lucky

XRP $1.38 today - what if attacker printed 1B XRP and dumped?

Is XRP still decentralized if RippleX can emergency patch without vote?
