O Dow Jones caiu 1,32%, o S&P 500 recuou 0,87% e o Nasdaq perdeu 1,00%. (The Wall Street Journal)
(The Guardian)
$ONT Ontology (ONT) delivered one of 2026's most explosive single-day rallies, and the pivot behind it might be even bigger. On April 1, 2026, ONT surged 66.9% in 24 hours to $0.124, pushing its market cap up $46 million in a single day with trading volume hitting $228.6 million — nearly double the entire market cap — a classic sign of extreme speculative interest. The rally marked a 196.9% recovery from ONT's all-time low of $0.039 hit just weeks earlier on March 8, though the token still sits 98.9% below its all-time high of $10.92 from 2018.
$ONT 🔵 — Ontology itself gained 26.51% in the image and benefits from the same ecosystem catalyst driving ONG. Ontology is a public blockchain focused on decentralized identity, data and smart contracts. Its v3.1.2 upgrade and the temporary Upbit suspension create a clear near-term event around the token, while ONT’s established history since 2018 gives it more infrastructure behind the move than a purely speculative meme asset.
$ACE 🎮 — Fusionist is showing 29.02% in the image. ACE powers the Fusionist gaming ecosystem and Endurance blockchain, designed for high-volume gaming and social transactions. Recent market data showed ACE gaining more than 15% in 24h, with volume exceeding $184M and a market-cap-to-volume ratio above 1,100%—a powerful sign of speculative attention.
$BOME 🐸 — BOOK OF MEME gained 29.28% in the image and has one of the strongest recent trend profiles. Created on Solana in 2024 by artist Darkfarms as a meme archive, BOME has recently shown renewed speculative demand; CoinGecko reports a 30% 7-day gain and more than $61M in 24h trading volume. Its combination of meme liquidity and rapid price acceleration makes continuation possible, but volatility remains extreme.
$PEOPLE 📜 — ConstitutionDAO’s token is up 36.15% in the image. Its unusual history remains one of its biggest speculative strengths: in 2021, ConstitutionDAO raised tens of millions in crypto to bid for an original U.S. Constitution copy at Sotheby’s, ultimately losing the auction. That extraordinary origin gives PEOPLE unusually strong meme and community recognition, making it a potential momentum continuation candidate when speculative capital rotates into low-cap assets.
$SANTOS ⚽ — The Santos FC Fan Token gained 40.24% in the image, making it one of the strongest momentum candidates. Launched through Binance in December 2021, SANTOS gives fans access to voting, NFTs, collectibles and club-related experiences. Current trading activity has also accelerated sharply, with CoinGecko reporting a 577.6% increase in 24h volume.
$ONG ⚡ — The standout momentum play, showing +151.00% in the image. Ontology Gas is the utility token of Ontology’s dual-token ecosystem, where ONG powers on-chain transactions. The move has a fundamental catalyst: Ontology is preparing its v3.1.2 mainnet upgrade, while Upbit temporarily suspended ONG and ONT transfers ahead of the transition. Recent market data also showed ONG up more than 130% in 24h, with volume above $54M.
(The Wall Street Journal)
$BTC 🚨 BITCOIN EXPLODES ABOVE $71,000 — IS THE CRYPTO BULL RUN BACK? 🚀₿
Bitcoin is suddenly back in the spotlight.
The world’s largest cryptocurrency surged 10.8% in 24 hours, breaking above $71,000 and reaching a daily high of approximately $72,418 — its strongest level since June 1.
So, what triggered the explosion?
🔥 Four major catalysts are driving the rally:
1️⃣ U.S. crypto regulation — proposed SEC rules could create new opportunities for digital assets and potentially give certain crypto projects rights similar to equity investors.
2️⃣ Easier financial conditions — the U.S. Treasury announced larger Treasury buybacks, helping push long-term yields lower and weakening the dollar. Bitcoin, highly sensitive to liquidity and risk appetite, reacted strongly.
3️⃣ Trump doubles down on crypto — the president met with executives from major crypto companies, including Coinbase, Ripple, Robinhood, Chainlink, Kraken and Gemini, while urging Congress to advance the Clarity Act and again highlighting the possibility of a U.S. strategic Bitcoin reserve.
4️⃣ A historic short squeeze — roughly $2.7 billion in short positions were liquidated in just 24 hours, forcing bearish traders to buy Bitcoin back and adding fuel to the rally.
And there is another bullish signal: U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $517.2 million in net inflows, their third consecutive session of positive flows.
Meanwhile, the Crypto Fear & Greed Index jumped from 41 to 60, moving from “Neutral” into “Greed.”
The big question now is whether this is merely a violent short-term rebound — or the beginning of a much larger recovery.
Bitcoin just sent a very loud message to the market. 👀
$牛来 🐂 *Niu Lai*, meaning “the bull is coming,” is leading today with a 52.22% gain near $0.057425. The Chinese-themed Solana memecoin has recorded approximately 48.70% growth in 24 hours, with $43 million in daily volume and a market capitalization near $63.46 million. Its explosive momentum is strong, but the speculative risk is extremely high.
$AVAAI 🤖 has climbed 49.29% to approximately $0.019845. AVAAI is an AI-agent token that recently gained 137.41% in 30 days and 65.68% in 7 days, supported by rising interest in smaller AI projects. With a market capitalization near $14 million, additional buying could produce large moves, although liquidity and volatility remain major risks.
$FOREST 🌲 is up 31.03%, trading near $0.021515. Forest Protocol is a small-cap crypto project linked to decentralized technology and digital ecosystems. Despite a 13.9% decline over 30 days and a market capitalization near $1.6 million, its current surge could attract short-term momentum traders. Low liquidity makes both potential gains and losses significantly larger.
💴 An Undervalued Yuan Meets an AI-Powered Dollar Economy
China’s renminbi may be significantly undervalued, with different models estimating the gap at roughly 11% to 30%. More comprehensive approaches — incorporating purchasing-power parity, income levels and equilibrium exchange-rate models — have in some cases placed the figure near 25%.
The argument is also supported by China’s growing share of global exports and signs that policymakers have sought to limit excessive appreciation of the currency. Keeping the renminbi relatively weak can help support growth when domestic demand remains soft, but it also carries a major downside: greater protectionist pressure abroad.
China’s industrial subsidies already strengthen the competitiveness of its exporters. If the currency is simultaneously perceived as undervalued, trading partners may face even stronger incentives to respond with tariffs and other trade barriers.
Meanwhile, the rise of artificial intelligence could create a new structural source of global demand for the U.S. dollar.
The logic resembles the historical petrodollar system. If computing capacity, energy, data-center contracts and AI services are predominantly priced and settled in dollars, a significant share of those revenues could eventually be recycled into dollar-denominated assets.
As AI becomes essential infrastructure and companies commit to computing capacity over decades, the global economy could increasingly resemble a “dollars per unit of computation” system.
AI companies, cloud providers and payment networks could therefore reinforce international demand for dollars — even as governments and investors continue debating alternatives to the U.S. currency.
The emerging monetary landscape may ultimately be shaped not only by oil and trade, but increasingly by computing power, energy and AI infrastructure. 🤖💵
🌍 Global Markets: Mixed Signals Amid Rising U.S.-Iran Tensions
Global markets are trading on a mixed note this Thursday, with Asian equities recovering while European stocks and U.S. futures face mild pressure.
The main focus remains on escalating tensions between the United States and Iran, after Donald Trump announced a new phase of “economic warfare” against Tehran, threatening severe sanctions on countries, banks, companies and institutions that help the Iranian regime circumvent international isolation.
Meanwhile, financial markets are still digesting the U.S. Treasury’s response to the recent surge in long-term interest rates. The decision to expand Treasury buybacks provided immediate relief to bond markets, weakened the dollar and improved overall sentiment.
However, questions remain over how sustainable this relief will be without more credible progress on U.S. fiscal consolidation.
Markets are caught between geopolitical escalation and a temporary easing in financial conditions — a combination that could keep volatility elevated. 📊
🔥 Iran Pushes Back as Trump Unleashes New Economic Offensive
Tensions between Washington and Tehran are entering another dangerous phase.
President Donald Trump has threatened an unprecedented campaign of economic warfare against Iran, warning that countries, banks and companies providing Tehran with an economic “lifeline” could face severe consequences. (Reuters)
Iran has rejected the threats, accusing Washington of pursuing “economic terrorism” and insisting that sanctions and pressure will not force Tehran to surrender.
Meanwhile, the Strait of Hormuz remains the critical flashpoint. Iran has threatened to adopt a more offensive posture if diplomacy fails, while the U.S. maintains pressure on shipping through the strategic waterway. (Reuters)
The stakes extend far beyond the Middle East. Hormuz is one of the world’s most important energy corridors, and prolonged disruption could send oil prices higher, increase shipping costs and create another shock for the global economy.
With diplomacy stalled and economic pressure escalating, the question is no longer simply whether Washington and Tehran can reach a deal — but how much further this confrontation can escalate before a deal becomes possible.
