📈 Bitcoin-Gold Correlation Peaks

Bitcoin-gold correlation hit a six-year high. The 90-day BTC-gold relationship rose to 2020 levels, while correlation with stocks fell to a low. Bitwise research chief Andre Dragosh linked the move to August macro events.

$ETH pullback might be the setup, not the problem 🔥

While ETH's been sliding down to $2,396.20 today, deep inside a clean downtrend from the $2,538 high ,I think this dip is more interesting than people give it credit for.

Here's why: price just tapped the 0 fib retracement zone (~$2,356), a level that's historically acted as strong support on this leg, and it's now pressing right into the descending trendline that's capped every bounce since late August. A break above that trendline would be the first real signal sellers are losing control.

Not calling a reversal yet the trend is still down until proven otherwise. But this is exactly the kind of level where the next move actually gets decided.

Stuck in No-Man's Land, Which Way Breaks First?

Unlike the clean uptrends we've seen in SOL and ZEC lately, Bitcoin's been chopping sideways for the past week, currently trading at $78,632.

Look at the structure: BTC hit $81,700 on Aug 25, then only managed a lower high of $79,900 two days later before dropping hard to $77,270. Since then it's been stuck grinding between $77,900–$79,500 — a sign buyers and sellers are in a standoff.

What I'm watching: This range needs to resolve one way or another soon.
🔹 A clean break and hold above $79,900–81,700 would flip momentum bullish again
🔹 A break below $77,000 would confirm sellers are back in control and open the door to lower levels

Right now, BTC sits almost dead center — no edge either way until one of these levels breaks with volume.

$ZEC EC Reclaiming Highs After a Wild Run — Second Leg Forming?

Zcash just had one of the sharpest moves in the market lately — a parabolic run from ~$495 to $888 in under two weeks. After that first spike, price cooled off and consolidated between $780–$845 for several days, and now it's pushing back up toward the highs, currently trading at $872.99.

What I'm watching: This looks like classic "breakout → consolidate → re-test" behavior. If ZEC can clear and hold above the prior high near $888, it opens the door for price discovery into the $900–920 zone. On the flip side, losing the $840 support would signal the breakout attempt is failing and send price back toward $800.

Key levels:
🔹 Support: $840.00 / $800.00
🔹 Resistance/Target: $888.00 → $920.00

Big caveat: this coin already made an outsized move in a short window. These second-leg breakouts can work, but they can also fail fast if there's no fresh volume behind them. Manage risk accordingly — don't chase without confirmation.

SOL just ripped from the mid-$70s to $108+ in a matter of weeks, and today alone it's up +6.5%, pushing into fresh highs on the 4h chart.

What stands out: this isn't a one-candle spike — price cleanly broke a multi-week consolidation base around $74–78, reclaimed the $96–100 zone as support, and is now trending in a clean stair-step pattern of higher highs and higher lows.

My view:
As long as SOL holds above the $100.00 level (former resistance, now acting as support), the structure favors continuation. A pullback into the $104 zone would be a healthy retest rather than a reversal signal. Losing $96–97 would be the first sign this move is losing steam.

🔹 Resistance/Target: $112–115.00
