Solana has activated its Transaction V1 format on mainnet, raising the maximum transaction size from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes. The upgrade, which went live around September 15, allows complex operations such as zero-knowledge proofs, large multisigs, and confidential transfers to fit into a single atomic transaction instead of being split across multiple ones.
