On February 12, cybersecurity system Cyvers Alerts reported a string of unusual transactions within SafeMoon, a DeFi protocol. These transactions involved the SafeMoon deployer adding an address beginning with 0xc18 as approveLiquidityPartner. The said address subsequently removed liquidity from several liquidity pools, transferring assets worth $11.2 million across the Ethereum, BNB, and Polygon chains to an address that starts with 0x6f9.
Notably, SafeMoon US LLC declared bankruptcy on January 19, 2024. Yet, whether these transactions are related to the firm's bankruptcy situation remains unclear. The suspicious transactions and potential links to the bankruptcy filing may warrant further investigation.
SafeMoon has yet to comment on these newer developments.-Investors tracking the situation closely are encouraged to stay cautious until more information becomes available.
