Nansen CEO: Bitcoin May Never Fall Below $60K Again
Nansen CEO Alex Svanevik believes Bitcoin's recent move around the $60,000 level could represent the bottom of the current market cycle.
According to Svanevik, he does not expect Bitcoin to trade below $60K again, pointing to Bitcoin's growing role as a hedge against monetary expansion by central banks and the broader maturation of the crypto industry.
His argument goes beyond price. Svanevik sees crypto entering a new "real-world era," where tokenization, real-world assets and practical blockchain applications could become increasingly important drivers of adoption.
His broader market views:
• Bitcoin: Svanevik remains structurally bullish and sees $60K as a potential long-term floor, although this is his personal market view, not a guaranteed price level.
• Solana: He remains bullish on Solana and considers it a strong competitor, particularly praising its business development capabilities. He stopped short of giving a specific SOL price target.
• Robinhood Chain: Svanevik highlighted Robinhood's ability to distribute crypto products to a large existing user base. Robinhood Chain has already attracted significant activity since its July launch, although much of that activity has not yet centered on the tokenized real-world assets the network was designed to support.
• Crypto's next phase: The bigger thesis is adoption. Svanevik believes the industry is moving away from being driven purely by speculation toward applications involving financial markets, tokenized assets and real-world utility.
The $60K prediction is certainly bold. Bitcoin has historically shown that even strong long-term narratives do not eliminate volatility.
But if Svanevik is right, the more important question may not be whether Bitcoin can hold $60K, but whether the industry is entering a phase where real-world adoption creates a stronger structural floor for crypto assets.
What do you think? Is $60K the new Bitcoin floor, or is another major correction still possible?
