My conversation yesterday, with a friend who asked just one simple question "you have been Soo piped out about this Babylon Protocol, how does the staking even work?" well this question led me to do a little research which led me into a further deeper research and guess what I discovered! It is obvious that you stake Bitcoin you earn rewards right!! because delegating your Bitcoin to finality providers who are part of the protocols security design enables the protocol to track and validate the transactions between the Bitcoin chain and the Baby protocol, now I realized that both $BTC and $BABY contribute to the network validation process and hence both Bitcoin and Babylon stakes can both receive rewards, that is not all, there is also a symbiotic relationship entrenched in the protocol which ensures that users who stake both Bitcoin and Babylon assets on the protocol simultaneously can earn even more massive staking rewards.
However the accomplishment and sustainability of these mechanism depends on adoption, which is possible on the premise that The Babylon protocol becomes a core mechanism of Bitcoins financial infrastructure, because at the height of it all the basic user is interested in token performance, and token performance coupled with the fact that a protocol has strong security mechanisms are not the same thing. Thus to intrigue the basic user in purview of token performance adoption into BTCFI infrastructure needs to happen, accumulation of incentives and sustainable rewards through staking, user participation and partner networks actually need to use the Network on a wide scale, when all these mechanics are set in motion it would be no doubt that the Baby protocol becomes a safer and valid aspect of BTCFI secure Network infrastructure and as Bitcoin grows so will the Babylon protocol grow.
