$ICP ICP/USDT (4h) analysis. This is a technical read, not financial advice.
Trend and structure ICP is at 3.458, up about 12% over 24h. It made a V-shaped recovery from the 3.049 low to a 24h high of 3.550. - The bigger picture is still bullish: higher lows from 2.436, and gains of 26% over 30 days and 59% over 90 days. - The 3.609 swing high is the major resistance. It was rejected once already, and price is now retesting that area.
Moving averages - Price is above every EMA and MA. EMA(7) is at 3.346, and the EMA(25), EMA(99) and MA(99) cluster around 3.18-3.25. - That 3.18-3.25 zone is the key support area. It's also where the previous pullback found its footing.
Momentum - RSI(6) is about 80, which is clearly overbought. - The last candle has a long upper wick near 3.55, which suggests sellers are active at the highs. - After a vertical move like this, a pullback toward the EMA(7) or the 3.25 zone is common.
Levels to watch | Type | Level | |---|---| | Resistance | 3.550, then 3.609 | | First support | about 3.35 (EMA 7) | | Main support | 3.18-3.25 (MA/EMA cluster) | | Breakdown level | 3.049 (24h low) |
Bias: Bullish but extended. A 4h close above 3.609 would confirm a breakout and open room above. A pullback that holds 3.25-3.35 would be a healthier setup than buying the spike. A close below 3.18 would weaken the whole bounce.
Chasing after a 12% day usually gives a poor risk/reward. Waiting for a retest, with a stop set in advance, is the more cautious approach.
