Your Strategy Is Only as Good as Your Understanding of Price Action
A lot of traders focus on finding the “perfect strategy” — indicators, entries, setups, confirmations…
But here’s the reality:
A strategy without understanding price action and liquidity is just a set of rules.
Technical analysis helps you understand the market structure. Price action shows you how the market is actually behaving. Liquidity helps you understand where the market is likely searching for orders.
Before taking a trade, you should be asking:
• What is the current market structure? • Where is the liquidity? • Which highs/lows are likely to be targeted? • Is price reacting from an important area? • Is there confirmation from price action? • Does my strategy actually make sense in the current context?
The biggest mistake is treating a strategy like a machine:
“Signal appears → enter trade.”
Markets don't work that simply.
The same setup can have completely different outcomes depending on market structure, liquidity, momentum, and context.
Learn the market first. Build your strategy around that understanding.
Don't just learn where to enter. Learn WHY the market is moving there.
This can genuinely fix 99% of your trading problems

So lets look at the reason WHY people get into trading. There's only one answer and its money. I can hear you think "nah but I trade for freedom" well indirectly thats still money.
This EXACT reason is why most people struggle with trading. We all know that emotions will harm our trading the most. It leads to stupid decisions, overrisking, overtrading, forcing trades, micro managing trades, extending TP/SL, taking partials to early, manually closing against your plan.
Any deviation from your trading plan is the result of emotions kicking in.
So how do we fix this?
Well we have to get rid of the main issue here and that is the emotional attachment to money/trading. We have to get to the point where we GENUINELY DO NOT CARE about money so that we can operate from a complete neutral state of mind.
This is hard since it completely goes against the reason why we got into trading and I personally believe this is the reason most people are unprofitable.
What helped me alot with this is just realizing that life is not too bad mainly through studying philosophies. Yes, I really found my profitability/edge inside philosophies. Which is extremely contradictive to what you've been told by most people.
And ofcourse I understand for some it may be extremely hard, because they feel like they need their environment to change ASAP, but wait untill you find out this greed outside of trading only slowed down your process of "making it" in a couple of years.
Study your own thoughts, learn about your thoughts. Learn about wisdom shared through philosophies. Realize that its all not so bad.
