🚨 BREAKING: Major Crypto Hack Raises Security Concerns
Bitget reportedly suffered a massive security breach involving approximately $351.6 million worth of crypto assets.
According to Bitget CEO Gracy Chen, some IP addresses linked to the attackers matched VPN infrastructure previously associated with a North Korea-linked hacking group. However, the investigation is still ongoing, so the attackers’ identity has not been conclusively established.
Bitget says its cold wallets remain secure, while more than $464 million is held in its User Protection Fund.
💰 Meanwhile, crypto thefts linked to North Korea-associated hackers are reportedly approaching or exceeding the $1 billion mark in 2026, depending on the incidents and methodology included in the calculation.
⚠️ Another major reminder that exchange security and wallet protection remain critical in crypto.

#termmax @TermMax TermMax stands out to me in the DeFi space, especially if you’re after a smarter way to work with fixed-rate, fixed-term markets. What really catches my eye is how they’re trying to bring more structure for both borrowers and liquidity providers—finally, some clarity on rates and when things actually mature. That’s huge in DeFi, where having real liquidity and actual users beats just launching on a bunch of blockchains any day. You can expand all you want, but if you’re not attracting enough funds or convincing borrowers to stick around, it just fizzles.
That’s where TermMax’s approach gets interesting. Fixed-rate markets give people some certainty—you know exactly what you’re signing up for. No mystery about what your rates will look like next week. For anyone managing long-term plans or just wanting a little peace of mind, that predictability is worth a lot.
Now, I’m curious to see how TermMax handles growth. Can they build up liquidity, roll out to more networks, and keep things easy to use? If they get that mix right—simple access, deep liquidity, steady demand—they could really change the fixed-rate game in DeFi.
Sure, DeFi isn’t without risks, and people always need to do their homework before jumping in. Still, I’ll be watching TermMax as fixed-rate solutions get more popular. I’m wondering, what do you think will really drive more people toward fixed-rate DeFi—better liquidity, lower fees, or just strong user demand?
#termmax @TermMax I have starting look at TermMax’s 1.5M registered wallets a small differently.
On the Situation, 1.5M wallets look like very strong adoption. But when you compare that with the reported $90M TVL, it works out to roughly $60 in TVL per registered wallet its huge amount. The real challenge here seems less about acquiring users and more about activating and retaining them.
The more meaningful metric is how many wallets fund a position, stay through maturity, receive their TMX, and return with additional capital.
Real demand is better measured by sustained user activity than by a 1B fixed-supply story. No inflation creates measurable scarcity—but scarcity matters only when demand continues to grow.
The same principle applies to multichain expansion. Ten EVM chains may sound impressive, but with $90M in TVL, that averages just $9M per chain. Expansion can improve accessibility, and some fragmentation is inevitable. But for fixed-rate markets, the real priority is liquidity and borrower depth—not simply having more deployment addresses.
Another metric I’d watch closely is unuse capital. If a large portion of vault assets is sitting in Aave, Morpho, or Venus rather than being deployed into TermMax fixed-term markets, is that smart capital routing—or a signal that native borrower demand remains limited?
Over the next 90 days, I’d also track how often TermMax’s locked rates actually outperform realized floating rates.
TMX supply is easy to count.
Repeat capital after maturity is where the protocol starts telling the real truth.
