A historic milestone has just been achieved on the Ethereum network, with staked ETH utilizing 0x02 validators reaching the 40% mark for the very first time.
Since the initial consolidation began a month ago, an impressive 1.8M staked ETH has transitioned from Lido Core 0x01 validators over to 0x02 credentials. This specific migration accounts for 21% of the total ETH currently staked with Lido.
Looking at the broader picture, the entire network experienced an expansion in 0x02 validator stake by 2.8M, which equals an increase of +6.11 pp. All of these recent developments are continually paving the way toward an Ethereum ecosystem that is both faster and more efficient.
We have reached an exciting milestone for the Ethereum network, as staked ETH operating on 0x02 validators has touched the 40% mark for the very first time. Looking at the broader ecosystem, the network-wide stake utilizing 0x02 validators saw an expansion of 2.8M, equating to an increase of +6.11 pp.
A major contributor to this progress has been the activity within Lido. In the month since the initial consolidation began, 1.8M staked ETH successfully moved from Lido Core 0x01 validators over to 0x02 credentials. This transfer alone accounts for 21% of the total ETH staked with Lido. All of these developments point us toward our shared goal of a faster and more efficient Ethereum.
