#Prediction markets are becoming a serious part of the crypto narrative, and @Polymarket is one name I keep watching closely.
While $HYPE , $JUP , $GMX , and $DYDX are competing for attention in onchain trading, Polymarket is building something different.
It turns real-world events into live markets where probabilities move as new information comes in.
That’s what makes prediction markets interesting. Instead of only following headlines, opinions, or influencers, you can see how people are actually positioning their money and adjusting their conviction in real time.
If prediction markets continue gaining adoption, Polymarket could remain one of the strongest names in this growing sector.
Crypto Just Had One of Its Strongest Weeks in Months
The crypto market had a very strong week, and this time the momentum wasn’t coming from just one place. Institutional buying, improving regulation, stronger charts, and changing rate expectations all played a role. Bitcoin ETFs recorded around $853 million in weekly BTC purchases, their biggest weekly buying activity in three months. Ethereum ETFs also joined the move, buying roughly $244 million in ETH, the strongest weekly figure in four months. SOL added another positive signal by finally breaking out of its three-month downtrend. After months of pressure, that breakout could bring fresh attention back to Solana if momentum continues. The regulatory side was busy too. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a new law regulating crypto in Russia, while the United States is moving closer to another important moment for crypto legislation. The U.S. Senate is expected to vote on the Crypto CLARITY Act on September 15, with President Trump backing the legislation. If it moves forward, it could provide more clarity around how the U.S. approaches the crypto industry. Macro conditions also became slightly more supportive. Expectations for a September rate hike dropped from 56% to 40%, reducing some of the pressure hanging over risk assets. Meanwhile, Strategy’s $STRC reached a 51-day high of $94.60, adding another positive signal to an already busy week. ETF demand is returning, regulation is moving forward, charts are improving, and macro fears have cooled slightly. Crypto finally has several positive narratives moving together. Now the big question is whether the market can turn one strong week into a bigger trend.
