On July 13, @Maple Finance Official proposed MIP-021: a fixed share of revenue automatically funds SYRUP buybacks each month and that share grows as revenue grows.
10% of monthly revenue under $1.5M
20% from $1.5M–$2M
30% above $2M
$SYRUP holders voted and 99.97% said yes.
First buybacks start in August, with every purchase tracked publicly

Maple just shipped its first new Syrup asset in two years, and it’s a big one.
syrupUSDG, a yield-bearing version of Global Dollar (USDG), built with Paxos.
The returns are real, not incentivized syrupUSDG isn’t paying yield from token emissions.
It’s backed by @Maple Finance Official institutional lending book over $22B in loans originated since 2022, all overcollateralized.
Borrowers pay interest, holders earn from that.
Same engine behind syrupUSDC and syrupUSDT, now extended to USDG.
It’s landing on Robinhood Chain.
This is Maple first real push into fintech distribution.
Steakhouse Financial (curator) approved syrupUSDG as collateral for the vault behind Robinhood Earn, the first decentralized lending product live inside the Robinhood app.
Morpho provides the vault infrastructure underneath it.
Four players, four clear roles Maple → credit & yield Steakhouse → vault curation Morpho → vault infrastructure Robinhood → distribution to millions of users.
Everything verifiable onchain through Maple Proof of Reserves.
USDG sits inside the Global Dollar Network. Kraken, OKX, Mastercard, and 130+ other fintech partners.
syrupUSDG gives that entire network a plug-and-play way to offer credit-backed yield without building their own credit desk.
It’s less “one integration” and more a template other platforms can copy.
syrupUSDG is live now on Ethereum and Robinhood Chain, with more chains coming. Robinhood access is rolling out in phases over the next few weeks. Institutional credit has always sat behind closed doors.
This is Maple clearest step yet to bring institutional credit to everyday users.
They closed a deal that brings a type of lending called “warehouse financing” onto the blockchain for the first time.
Warehouse financing is how banks fund things like car loans and mortgages. A lender provides a big pool of money upfront and that money gets used to issue loans backed by collateral.
This has existed in traditional finance for decades. It has never existed onchain, fully transparent and verifiable, until this deal.
Here is how it works:
Kraken has clients who hold crypto and want cash without selling their holdings. Kraken’s OTC lending program gives them loans backed by their BTC and ETH.
To fund those loans, Kraken needed capital. That’s where Maple comes in.
Think of it as a protected box that keeps the loan safely separated from Kraken’s other business, so if anything ever goes wrong with Kraken, this money and the loans tied to it stay safe.
Maple lenders are the ones supplying that capital, and in return they get access to overcollateralized yield, meaning they get paid first and the loans are backed by more crypto than they’re worth.
Two other parties keep this whole thing trustworthy.
Kraken Financial, a regulated custodian, holds the actual BTC and ETH collateral.
Zaria, an independent firm, oversees the SPV and makes sure everything runs as agreed.
@krakenfx gets to grow its lending business without using its own balance sheet.
Maple lenders get a new, safer way to earn yield, backed by real collateral they can verify onchain at any time.
This proves a multi-trillion dollar credit model from traditional finance can now run onchain, with all the same protections, just more transparent.
Tuesday 23 June. England vs Ghana. World Cup 2026.
Ghana are the underdogs walking into this one, the numbers say 18% chance of winning against England’s 55%. But anyone who has followed African football at a World Cup knows that percentages don’t always survive 90 minutes.
England have the squad, the depth and the tournament experience. Ghana have the hunger, the point to prove and the kind of collective motivation that doesn’t show up in any stat.
That combination has caused upsets before and it will cause them again.

A sports prediction and gaming platform you can access directly through your Binance app. The way it was set up removes every barrier that usually makes these platforms frustrating. Most gaming platforms operate separately from wherever you keep your crypto. You create a new account, go through another round of identity verification, transfer funds across and by the time everything is ready, the experience already feels like a chore. @Play and Predict takes a different approach. It runs as a mini-app inside Binance, which means your existing Binance wallet is what you use to fund your account. No separate sign-up, no extra KYC process, no transferring assets to an external address. To deposit, you use Binance Pay with USD1, Binance stablecoin. The minimum deposit is $10 and the maximum goes up to $500,000. If you’re already verified on Binance, there’s nothing else to set up on your end. What the platform offers: Sports prediction is the headline feature, and with the FIFA World Cup coming up, the timing is hard to ignore. The markets go well beyond simply picking a winner. You can predict halftime scores, whether both teams will score, total goals over or under a specific number, the exact correct score, Asian handicap lines and individual player markets. For live matches, odds shift in real time and your bet is locked in at the price displayed the moment you confirm it. You can also choose how odds are shown to you, either as a probability percentage or in decimal format, depending on what you’re used to reading. Outside of sports, there are casino games, a Crash game and live dealer tables. Something worth mentioning is how the responsible gaming side of things is handled. You can set your own daily, weekly, or monthly deposit cap from your profile. Lowering a limit takes effect immediately. Raising one has a 48-hour delay built in before it applies, that’s intentional, giving you time to reconsider. If you need a break from the platform entirely, you can request a cool-off period of 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days through the in-app chat. For a longer pause, voluntary self-exclusion is available from 6 months up to indefinite and once it’s set, it cannot be lifted before the period ends. Play & Predict is operated by Blackmere Ltd, licensed by the Anjouan Bet & Gaming Board under licence ALSI-202605032-FI1. Your identity verification is handled through your Binance account, the platform doesn’t request your documents separately 👉🏻 Try here 21+ only, Play responsibly.
