Polygon Plugs TRON Into Its Open Money Stack, Linking USDT to US Bank Rails
• On Oct 7, Polygon Labs added TRON to Open Money Stack, its payments and cross-border transfer platform launched in January. • Businesses can turn bank transfers, debit cards or cash into USDT on TRON, cash out to bank accounts, and move USDT between TRON and EVM chains through one integration. • Polygon runs the fiat ramps under money-transmitter licenses in 48 US states. Payment firms still carry their own licensing duties.
A rival building on-ramps into TRON instead of competing head-on says a lot about where stablecoin payment volume sits.
$NEAR Up 9% as Its Multichain App Adds Robinhood Chain
$5.42 → NEAR price, +9.4% in 24h, the best large-cap move today $7.1B → market cap, rank 20 +0.2% → 7-day change, so this mostly recovers early-week losses
🟡 Neutral. Robinhood Chain support via NEAR Intents and Illia Polosukhin's pitch that onchain tools reduce the need for centralized exchanges make a good narrative, but no official catalyst is tied to today's move.
Expect NEAR to retest the $5.54 weekly high while it holds $5.17 (1-day average).
🟢 Verdict: Bullish, sector-driven JUP is moving with MET and RAY in a rotation into Solana DEX tokens rather than on its own news. That makes the move broader, but also dependent on the group holding up.
📊 Key levels • Support: $0.333 (1-day average) • Resistance: $0.375 (weekly high) • Trend: breaking out of the week's range
🎯 Outlook Expect JUP to test $0.375 and try to clear it while it holds $0.333.
$HYPE Slips 2.9% as Hyperliquid Confirms a Singapore Base Without a MAS License
HYPE looks tired after tagging $95.25 earlier this week.
✅ Per the FT, MAS views the decentralized venue as outside its licensing scope ✅ Still only about 10% below its all-time high ❌ Down 2.9% to about $88.4, below its 3-day average ($91.6) ❌ A Singapore base with no license adds a regulatory question mark
My call: a dip toward the $86.2 weekly low while HYPE stays under $91.6. Not financial advice, DYOR.
Tether and Kazakhstan's Central Bank Sign MoU on a Tenge Stablecoin
• On Oct 7, the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Tether and the Alatau City Authority signed an MoU to study a tenge-pegged stablecoin and a framework for tokenized assets. • The central bank stressed this is exploratory and not a decision to issue. • A tokenization pilot is planned in Alatau City under its special legal regime, with Tether's Hadron platform among the technologies considered.
Tether is moving from issuing $USDT to selling infrastructure to central banks. A real issuance decision would be the signal to watch.
$ETH Down 4% on the Week as Bitmine Plans to Stop Buying at 5%
ETH trades near $2,584, down 1.3% on the day and about 4% on the week, roughly 48% below its all-time high. ETH accounted for about $174M of yesterday's $547M in liquidations.
The bigger story is demand. Tom Lee said Bitmine, holding about 6.02M ETH (4.9% of supply), will stop buying at 5%, roughly 100K ETH away, or six to seven weeks at its ~$41M weekly pace. Losing a steady bid while ETH ETFs see outflows is a real headwind.
I'm bearish short term. Price is under its 3-day average ($2,665). Expect a retest of the $2,538 low while ETH stays below $2,665.
Justin Drake Urges 'Bunker Mode' as AI Could Break Wallet Crypto Before Quantum
• Ethereum researcher Justin Drake warned that ECDSA, used by Bitcoin and Ethereum, could be broken by AI-driven math before quantum computers arrive, in a worst case within months, not years. • Bunker mode: move most funds to fresh addresses that have never signed a transaction, so public keys stay hidden behind a hash, and rotate to a new address after each spend. • He cited OpenAI's release of 722 AI-solved math manuscripts. Vitalik Buterin backed the planning; the Ethereum Foundation still says no action is needed today.
A tail-risk warning, not an emergency, and Drake himself says don't rush. Large holders should learn the address hygiene now.
$0.468 → MET price, +46% in 24h on volume about 6.7x its 30-day average $20.3M → protocol fees Meteora collected over the past 30 days Oct 23 → next MET token unlock
🟢 Bullish. DLMM Pro bundles Meteora's liquidity tools into one product, and the fee base gives the rally a real anchor. The risk is the Oct 23 unlock landing on top of a vertical move.
Support sits at $0.372 (1-day average). Expect MET to retest the $0.480 high while it holds $0.372.
$BTC Slips to $83.2K as Oil Tops $101 and Liquidations Hit $547M
BTC $83,211 | ETH $2,582 | BNB $773 | Fear & Greed 64
🔴 Verdict: Bearish short term Iran's attacks on tankers in the Strait of Hormuz pushed Brent above $101, and risk assets sold off. BTC printed an October low near $82.7K and liquidations jumped to $547M, about $174M of it in ETH. Until oil cools, macro is a headwind.
📊 Key levels • Support: $82,790 (weekly low) • Resistance: $85,020 (3-day average), then $87,220 • Trend: below both its 1-day and 3-day averages
🎯 Outlook Expect BTC to retest $82,790 while it stays below $85,020.
TRON Holds $94B in Stablecoins as Arbitrum Picks Its Own Dollar
• Arbitrum adopted Paxos' USDG as its ecosystem dollar, with a 100M ARB incentive proposal • DefiLlama: Ethereum $146.4B, TRON $94.3B, Arbitrum $3.8B in stablecoins • Chains are now competing for dollar supply with branded stablecoins and incentives
TRON's scale is a real moat, but it is a lead built on USDT, and rivals are subsidizing their way in. Worth watching, neither bullish nor bearish. Not financial advice, DYOR.
$ONDO Flat at $0.49 as Ondo Opens Tokenized Pre-IPO Markets
ONDO 0.4915 | 24h -1.5% | 7d -2.9% | MC $2.4B
🟡 Verdict: Neutral A real product (tokenized pre-IPO AI notes, 24/7, non-US only) but the token shrugged. The notes give no equity or shareholder rights, which caps the excitement.
Conduit Sues Tether Over $2.76M USDT Frozen for 1+ Year
• Stablecoin payments firm Conduit filed suit in New York over a frozen operating wallet • It says Brazilian police never requested the freeze and it owes Tether nothing • Conduit seeks the funds plus another $2.76M in damages; Tether has not responded in coverage
The case tests how much unilateral freezing power a stablecoin issuer really has. Anyone running treasury on USDT should read the terms closely. Not financial advice, DYOR.
