I have received lots of messages and comments about the #Metals this morning. #Gold is down 1.9%, #silver down 6% , #copper down 3.2% and #platinum 2.7% as I write this. First of all, I never fully trust moves before NY opens so all of these drops could easily reverse throughout the day. This is why I rarely post much in the mornings (It is morning here in the UK). And I will post updates later in the day once NY has been trading for a while and any move looks sustainable. But, on the charts right now; The gold bull flag I have talked about looks to be failing and it has dropped back below the upper orange line. Whilst it holds the bottom orange line, I remain fairly neutral on this in the short term. If the bottom orange line breaks, it will be bearish. Back above the upper orange line is bullish. Silver is looking a little stronger as still above the upper orange line. A retest of that could be a decent day trade long IMO and I have an alert set to judge it if it happens. The bias remains slightly bullish whilst above there and the comments about gold also apply here. Copper has dropped and tagged the $6.32 support level. I remain short in my swing trade but have taken a day trade long of there with a trailing stop that I am managing now. I remain bearish overall but key levels still get small bounces. Platinum retesting the orange line this morning all ready and trying to hold. Same principals as on gold and silver. $XAU $XAG $HG $PL

BITCOIN SHORT AND MEDIUM TERM PLAN SHORT TERM #Bitcoin is up 2.6% for the day and has had a big move off the back of the clarity act news. Many #altcoins are up significantly more. $BTC is currently retesting 81.2k on the 1 hour chart and this is a big level. Hold above and it likely moves up to 86k. Whilst below, it could retest 77k before moving up again. Short term I remain long on BTC and #alts but 77k is my key warning level where I will start hedging risk if that is lost. But my bias is still for higher at the moment. MEDIUM TERM I have said several times that my base case is still that the cycle bottom is not in. Today's rise was based on the clarity act passing the banking committee but there are still other hurdles to come. Polymarket has a 70% chance of passing this year. If the aimed timeline of it being singed off on July 4th happens, we could get a run up into that. that could very likely be a sell the news event and I will definitely take profits into any rally on this news. #Bitcoin down 1.6% currently and with a weak performance today. It was trading up and down with the #stockmarket pre market but since NY open, the stockmarket has only gone up and $BTC and #crypto has dropped. I still remain bullish overall but this has reduced the probabilities a little. I have added in a blue line at 77k and this for me is the key level to watch. Whilst above there it has a bullish bias but close below there and probabilities switch neutral to bearish. #trading

WHAT I AM WATCHING TODAY: -The #stockmarket had a decent early sell off yesterday on the back of hotter inflation numbers and rising #oil . BUT it recovered most of losses by the close and both #SP500 and nasdaq are up slightly over night. This shows the market isn't ready to drop yet and we likely make new highs again today. Still only long DAY trades as this move is near the end IMO. So I will buy intra day pull backs but I am SHORT in my swing trade positions. -I am watching the oil price and the key $100 level. No trades unless it has a bigger move but that sets the market bias for other assets. - #Bitcoin followed the stockmarket yesterday dropping early and recovering later on. Still hovering around the 81.2k support/resistance level. I'm continuing to watch carefully. I am long $BTC and a few #altcoins but if bitcoin can start moving, I will increase my exposure to some more alts as I think they are starting to get some money rotation. - The AI plays that have run recently ( intel , qualcomm , sandisc etc) pulled back nicely yesterday. If $QCOM drops below $200 I will look to buy (this pulled back nicely for the top of the parallel and is now close to mid line and white line support - chart attached). $INTC is on the verge of breaking down form the parallel. #Bitcoin down 1.4% currently and come down to test $80k. This is not a big drop considering the #nasdaq is down 1.6% currently. This still looks like consolidation at/just below a resistance level and this is very normal behaviour. If it does pull back below 77k in the next few days, probabilities will favour a break up and this is the scenario I think is most likely. $BTC #crypto #altcoins

#Bitcoin up 1% currently today and continuing it's grind higher. I took some profits just above the $81k level and that is where it's just had a small pullback. BUT, I continue to think this can go higher and have the majority of my position still open. It is now testing the $81.4k level again and that remains resistance. But the pull back from there was small so it does look like it can break up. If it does, $86k is the next resistance and I will then be considering taking more profits or at least trailing my stop. The #altcoins have now started to move and they look like the better trade over the next week or 2 and I have added several over the last few weeks to my portfolio. BUT, $BTC has had declining volume since the 6th Feb bottom and that will only be seen as the ultimate bottom if volume returns. For now, my base case is that $59k will NOT be the bottom and that will get taken out in the next few months. So, yes, I am long now, but I am cautious and will flip short if the markets looks like turning. NOTE: You can copy my #crypto trading on several platforms. #Bitcoin down 2% today currently and getting a pull back from the $81.2k resistance level I have talked about for weeks. As I posted about on Tuesday, I closed 1/3 of my long there but I am still holding the rest of my position for higher. This looks like a standard pull back from resistance so it would be very normal to consolidate here/bull flag for a few days before it gets the strength to move higher. If it pulls back and loses around $76k I will probably close/protect my position but as always I will judge it day by day. Much will depends on the #stockmarket and the war with Iran so these decisions can change quickly. $BTC #crypto #altcoins
