Bitcoin Holds Strong Near $84,000 After Explosive September Rally
Bitcoin is once again showing its resilience. After briefly reclaiming the $87,000 level on September 21 — its highest price since January — the world’s largest cryptocurrency has settled into a tight range around $84,000–$84,500 as of September 27. The move higher was no accident. Strong inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, short covering, and improving market sentiment after the Federal Reserve’s latest policy decision all played a role. At one point this month, Bitcoin was up more than 10% in September, putting it on track for one of its strongest September performances in over a decade. What’s Driving the Market Right Now? ETF Demand: Institutional money continues to flow in. Recent sessions saw hundreds of millions in net inflows, with BlackRock’s IBIT and other major funds leading the charge. Technical Strength: After clearing key resistance levels earlier in the week, Bitcoin found solid support near the $83,000–$83,300 zone. Buyers stepped in quickly whenever price dipped. Broader Context: While the total crypto market saw some profit-taking, Bitcoin has clearly outperformed most altcoins on a relative basis over the past week. Looking Ahead The next major levels traders are watching are clear: Upside: A clean break and hold above $87,000 could open the door toward $90,000 and beyond. Downside: Strong support remains in the low $83,000s. A break below that zone would likely invite deeper consolidation. Despite sitting roughly 33% below its all-time high near $126,000, Bitcoin’s ability to bounce strongly from mid-month lows has reminded many that the long-term trend remains intact. Institutional accumulation, ETF demand, and Bitcoin’s role as the market’s primary store of value continue to provide a solid foundation. Volatility is never far away in crypto, but the recent price action shows that buyers are still willing to step up on dips. For now, Bitcoin is consolidating its gains — and the market is watching closely for the next decisive move. $BTC

Hacker Shifts $83M in Stolen XRP While The Exchange Handles the Aftermath The fallout from the $387.5 million breach continues to develop. The attacker has reportedly transferred roughly $83 million worth of stolen $XRP from three holding wallets, while about $75 million stays in wallets that cannot be frozen under XRP Ledger rules. Exchanges can blacklist addresses receiving the stolen assets, yet the attacker’s own wallets cannot be blocked. At the same time, Circle and Tether have frozen around $320,000 in related stablecoins. The exchange states its protection fund will completely cover the losses and that customer balances remain safe. Withdrawals are set to restart gradually between Sept. 28 and Oct. 2. Attention now moves from the breach itself to how much of the stolen funds can truly be tracked, frozen, or recovered. 🚨💰 What are your thoughts on it 👀? #cryptofirst21 $RARE
