LIP 024 Proposal for $LISTA Tokenomics 2.0

This new initiative is designed to gradually retire the veLISTA framework while greatly enhancing the everyday utility of $LISTA across our entire protocol. The proposal outlines a few fundamental shifts in our operating model.

First, the practice of veLISTA staking will be entirely removed. All currently staked veLISTA balances will be unlocked immediately with absolutely no penalties, completely bypassing any initial lock duration agreements.

Second, our governance process will become much simpler. Moving forward, merely holding $LISTA will qualify you to vote on protocol proposals, while the existing LP pool voting system will be slowly phased out.

Third, we will be transitioning from a revenue sharing structure to a dedicated $LISTA buyback system. The protocol fees that were historically paid out to veLISTA stakers will be reallocated. These funds will now be used to drive overall protocol growth, create new user benefits, and facilitate $LISTA buybacks. To ensure full transparency, a public dashboard will be provided so anyone can track these buyback activities.

Fourth, the token utility for $LISTA will be significantly expanded. This growth will kick off with a brand new delayed liquidation product feature, which is scheduled for release during Q2 2026.

When casting your ballot, selecting Yes means that you authorize the $LISTA Tokenomics 2.0 upgrade. Once the proposal successfully passes, the Lista team will begin putting these changes into effect. Selecting No means that you would prefer to preserve the current veLISTA model exactly as it operates today.
