Ever wonder why price breaks a level, pulls back, and then continues moving?
That is market structure and this is exactly what we just saw on $Q at $0.02632 low.
BOS is Break of Structure. It forms after a clear breakout. Price pushes above last high or below last low with volume. That is first sign trend is continuing.
MSS is Market Structure Shift. It shows shift in character. When downtrend starts making higher low and breaks last lower high, that is MSS. That is where I start looking for reversal instead of chasing.
FVG is Fair Value Gap. It is price imbalance. When candles move fast and leave a gap between wicks, market often comes back to fill it. That fill is entry, not the breakout itself.
Orderblock acts as strong support or resistance zone. It is last bullish or bearish candle before impulse. On $Q 1h chart that $0.02805 to $0.02869 zone was orderblock, price came back to it and reacted.
Liquidity sweep is what traps retail traders. Price sweeps below a clear low like $0.02632, takes stops, then reverses hard with volume spike MA5 52.5M vs MA10 40.3M on 1h. That is exactly what happened at 9:57 PM. Retail shorts at low, smart money buys sweep.
Target is always previous swing high or new high. After sweep to BOS, my target is $0.02970 15m high then $0.03000 24h high.
I used to chase breakouts before I learned this. Now I wait. Break, sweep, MSS, FVG fill, then entry. Risk 1 to 2% only, stop beyond sweep, not in middle.
Do you trade BOS breakouts or wait for liquidity sweep and FVG fill like me?
