# Post B1 — 3 questions before trusting any crypto project
Before I connect a wallet to anything new, I ask:
1. Who owns the cash flows? (protocol? tokenholders? validators?)
2. What does the token actually DO? (claim on revenue? governance? meme?)
3. What happens if the team disappears tomorrow? (can the protocol survive?)
If the answer to #3 is "nothing works without them" — I treat it as a startup bet, not an investment.
