BINANCE REPLENISHES 98% OF AFFECTED ASSETS, EXPANDS PROOF OF RESERVES
Binance says it has replenished approximately 98% of the assets impacted by the recent security incident, up from 95% on November 2.
The exchange has also expanded its Proof of Reserves coverage from 10 to 44 tokens, with a new snapshot taken on November 4.
Binance says it is covering the losses using its own funds, while purchases of the remaining 2% may take longer due to lower liquidity.
The next milestone is the release of the zero-knowledge proof, expected within 50 to 60 hours, allowing users to verify 1:1 balance backing.
