ETH Whale Watch: $1.89B in Exchange Outflows vs $1.75B in Inflows
Ethereum’s large-transfer data shows substantial exchange activity as the market continues to digest recent security concerns.
TrackWhale’s November 3 snapshot reported the following activity over seven days:
* Exchange inflows: $1.75 billion
* Exchange outflows: $1.89 billion
* Net exchange flow: -$139.9 million
* Total tracked exchange outflow: approximately 827,790 ETH
* Total tracked exchange inflow: approximately 766,650 ETH
Several notable movements appeared on November 3:
* $108 million transferred from an unknown wallet to a Binance cold wallet.
* $77.4 million transferred from an unknown wallet to a Binance cold wallet.
* $23.6 million moved from a Binance deposit address to an unknown wallet.
* $12.4 million moved from another Binance deposit address to an unknown wallet.
The same unidentified wallet appears in multiple transactions.
These transfers do not prove that a whale bought or sold ETH. Exchange and custody wallet movements must be distinguished from actual market trades.
Another important detail comes from November 2 derivatives data: Hyperliquid recorded approximately $69.3 million in liquidations, with 81% coming from long positions. A $22.5 million liquidation cascade occurred between 17:00 and 18:00 UTC.
The combination of exchange flows and leveraged-position liquidations makes market positioning particularly important to monitor.
Watch next: Net exchange flows, verified wallet labels, and whether leveraged long exposure continues to decline.
