AKE's burn mechanism does not guarantee a shrinking tradable supply. Blockworks' Akedo filing describes fee burns as “reducing circulating supply over time.”

As of 2026-11-02 17:07 UTC+8, Binance's AKEUSDT perpetual was down 36.4% over 24 hours. Akedo's whitepaper assigns 33% of protocol fees to burns and specifies an investor schedule: a 3-month cliff, then a 24-month linear unlock.

Unlocks can enlarge the tradable pool without new minting, but they do not establish how much investors sell.

If scarcity is your reason to buy this dip, compare tokens removed from circulation with tokens becoming tradable over the same period. A vesting schedule does not establish today's releases or sales; the price fall does not identify the seller.
