Apple earnings, the US midterms, Zcash NU7, a HYPE unlock and the jobs report. Here’s when each land, what it could change, and the levels to watch while Bitcoin sits near $78K.

🗓️ Bitcoin has spent the weekend going nowhere. This week has five events that could change that, and none of them is a crypto event alone.

$BTC trades near $78,000, with the Friday low near $76,460 and $80,000 as the first resistance. Fear & Greed sits at 37. Here's the calendar.

🍎 Monday, Nov 2: Apple earnings (after the US close).
Results land around 2:00 am Tuesday in Pakistan, with the call an hour later. It follows Alphabet's drop, and the AI-spending debate hangs over every tech report. Apple is up about 27% this year, so the bar is high. Strong guidance could calm tech. A miss would keep the Nasdaq nervous, and crypto has been trading with it.

🗳️ Tuesday, Nov 3: US midterm elections.
All 435 House seats and 35 Senate seats are up. Markets care about the policy mix that follows spending, energy and technology rules. Results arrive overnight and into Wednesday morning in Pakistan. Expect headline-driven moves, and don't treat early counts as a final answer.

🔐 Nov 5 to 6: Zcash NU7 upgrade.
Activation is set for block 3,543,405, which falls on the night of November 5 into November 6. Blocks drop from 75 to 25 seconds, and any $ZEC still in the old Sprout pool becomes unspendable unless moved first. Upgrade dates often attract a run-up, and what follows is a separate question.

🔓 Friday, Nov 6: Hyperliquid unlock.
The team said 180,000 $HYPE (about $14M) vested for distribution that day. Tokenomist's model, though, counts about 9.92 million $HYPE (roughly $924M) of scheduled contributor vesting. Last month only about 3.75 million actually moved, mostly toward an institutional OTC deal. An unlock isn't a sale but watch how much moves.

📊 Friday, Nov 6: US jobs report, 8:30 am ET (6:30 pm in Pakistan).
Economists expect about 55,000 new jobs and 4.2% unemployment, after just 29,000 in September. Barclays says a number near 50,000 with lower unemployment would keep a December hike in play, and the Fed meets December 9. A hot number of lifts hike odds, and a weak one raises growth worries.

✅ What this means for you

If you trade $BTC, this is a week of stacked catalysts, so size smaller and avoid heavy leverage around the Apple, midterm and jobs windows. $76,460 is the low to respect, and $80,000 is the line to reclaim.

If you're on the sidelines, you don't need to predict any single event. Waiting until Friday's jobs data has landed costs you little.

If you hold long term, one week of headlines doesn't change your plan. It's still useful to know when the volatility is likely to arrive.

🟢 Bullish scenario
Apple and the jobs data come in clean, the election brings no policy shock, and $BTC reclaims $80,000 on better risk appetite.

🔴 Risk scenario
Tech disappoints, jobs data runs hot or very weak, and $BTC loses $76,460 as the AI selloff resumes.

👀 Three things to watch

1️⃣ Tech tone: does Apple calm the AI selloff or extend it?
2️⃣ Friday's payrolls: near 55,000, or a big surprise either way?
3️⃣ $76,460 and $80,000: the low to hold and the line to reclaim

💡 The key takeaway

Five dates, one question: is risk appetite getting better or worse? Bitcoin's quiet weekend won't last through Friday.

The real question isn't which date matters most. It's whether any of them changes the story.

That is the part worth watching.
