$BTC moves least on Saturdays. Sunday is a different story.

Last 30 days, daily high to low as a % of the open:
- Saturdays: 0.85% average range, 613M USDT volume
- Sundays: 1.83%, 726M
- Weekdays: 2.86%, 1,418M

A Saturday trades less than half a weekday's volume and moves less than a third as far. In all four weekends, Sunday's range was bigger than Saturday's.

Why it matters:
- Thin books. Fewer orders means one large order moves price more.
- Stops set on a calm Saturday sit close to price. Sunday's wider swing reaches them.
- Funding still settles every 8 hours, so a perp held from Friday's close to Monday's open pays 6 times.
- The weekly candle closes Monday 00:00 UTC. A late Sunday move sets the weekly close many traders read on Monday.

Four weekends is a small sample. Treat it as a tendency, not a rule.

Before the weekend, do you widen your stop, cut size, or close out?
