#nil #NIL $NIL @Nillion
I went back to Nillion's CTO announcement from a few days ago, and one detail feels more important than the appointment itself.

@bmartins_ is joining the Nillion Association to lead core technology and the development of Covenants.

That puts the focus on a specific part of Nillion's roadmap.

Encrypted Markets aren't just about hiding transaction amounts or wallet activity. The bigger challenge is keeping instructions and execution logic private until the conditions for acting on them are actually met.

That's a different kind of problem from transaction privacy.

And it becomes more relevant as trading strategies, automated vaults and AI agents start operating directly onchain, where exposing the logic behind a decision can be enough to lose the advantage.

The interesting part now is execution.

A CTO appointment is one thing. Turning Covenants into reliable infrastructure that developers can actually build on is another.

Makes me wonder which will be the first application to make encrypted execution feel essential rather than just an interesting cryptographic feature.
